Account Executive – US (East-Coast)

Rookout is looking for an experienced hunter Account Executive that has a passion for technology and can deliver on aggressive revenue targets. As we continue to break into bigger deals, you will blaze the path for the organization’s growth in US territory.

Location: East-Coast (preferably Boston or New York)

You will:

  • Prospect into large-sized companies while managing an efficient sales process
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  • Plan the territory, identify target accounts to focus on and network your way in
  • Identify partners to help develop the territory, establish and maintain the relationship with those partners
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness when faced with challenges that defy easy solution
  • Have an intuitive sense of required steps to close business and gain customer validation
  • Identify a robust set of business drivers behind all opportunities
  • Identify the stakeholders involved in the buying process and develop a plan to engage them in a timely manner to ensure the sales-process successful completion
  • Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain, build and manage specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  • Have a thorough understanding of customer’s business


  • 7+ years of successfully selling SaaS products / B2B technological products, preferably to dev. managers
  • Experience with DevOps/DevTools space – A must
  • Recent experience working for an emerging tech company (or has sold from small to big companies)
  • Sold into large fortune 1000 companies
  • Hunter, develop your own leads
  • Has met/exceeded direct sales goals
  • Deal sizes have been large mid-market $15k+ or enterprise, $200K+
  • Must show a proven methodology to prospect and build pipeline on their own
  • Excellent English speaker with great written communication skills – MUST
  • Legally eligible to work in the US for any employer
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with limited support
  • Comfortable working independently and with limited supervision
  • Team player
