Demand Generation Manager – US

Rookout is looking for an experienced demand-generation leader to develop and execute Rookout’s demand generation strategy. A results-driven and data-driven leader who brings a strong sales orientation and a deep understanding of what it takes to build a growing demand pipeline, alongside Product and Sales teams.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a predictable and scalable top and mid-funnel pipeline, by developing a deep understanding of our industry (Developer tools/Debugging), target persona, buyer’s journey, product, and USPs. Experimenting with and optimizing different tactics, and striving to consistently meeting or exceeding pipeline and revenue goals. You will own buyer engagement across all marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, ABM and the setup of our MarTech stack.


  • Develop and execute an enterprise multi-channel demand generation and ABM strategy that is aligned with the sales and product team, to achieve revenue and pipeline goals
  • Create programs for all stages of the funnel that includes generating new leads, nurturing them to generate MQLs, and supporting Sales in the creation of bottom-funnel programs to convert MQLs to opportunities
  • Own deliverables across the entire marketing funnel, track and optimize performance at each stage in the funnel, and create a predictable and scalable MQL engine.
  • Collaborate with sales, product and marketing leadership to establish priorities, goals and targets, and develop strategic and tactical plans to deliver on those targets.
  • Employ best practices to achieve growth goals while also experimenting with creative strategies and less-proven tactics
  • Manage the buyer’s journey by learning our ICP and ensure we are reaching and engaging with relevant personas.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of high-performing inbound campaigns, including copy, marketing automation, SEO, SEM, gated content and social media.



  • 5+ years of experience in hands-on demand generation for enterprise-facing software development companies.
  • Industry experience – Developer tools / Observability / APM companies
  • Track record of success working with a B2B sales team, delivering qualified leads, buyer engagement, and lead funnel
  • Proven ability to strategize and orchestrate all forms of marketing automation, advertising, inbound and ABM.
  • Proven ability to strategize and orchestrate copy, landing pages, digital marketing and advertising flows for demand gen purposes
  • Track record of translating a go-to-market strategy into the appropriate portfolio of digital and demand generation strategies and tactics.
